How it works
Upload
Drop any photo into the box above — a logo, a screenshot, a product shot. It is read locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Click a pixel
Click (or tap) anywhere on the image. The exact color of that pixel is read and shown instantly as HEX and RGB, with a big swatch.
Copy & reuse
Hit Copy on the HEX or RGB value, or tap any swatch in your recent-colors strip to copy it again later.
Pull exact brand colors from any logo or screenshot
Ever seen a website, a logo or a product photo and wondered "what exact shade is that blue?" — this tool answers it in one click. The color picker reads the true pixel value from your image, so you get the precise HEX code (like #3A7BD5) and RGB values (like rgb(58, 123, 213)) rather than a guess.
Designers use it to rebuild brand palettes from client logos and screenshots without asking for style guides. Developers use it to match a button or background color in CSS. Marketers use it to keep social graphics consistent with brand colors. Because it reads the actual pixels, it works on anything you can see on screen — just screenshot it and pick.
Tips
- Click flat areas for the truest reading. The middle of a solid block of color is pure — edges and gradients are anti-aliased blends of two colors.
- Zoom with the magnifier. On desktop, hover over the image to see a magnified pixel view with a crosshair — perfect for nailing a 1-pixel line.
- Watch out for JPEG noise. Compressed photos blend neighboring pixels slightly, so clicking twice in "the same" blue can differ by a shade — take the value from the flattest area.
- Use history like a palette. Your last 10 picks stay as tappable swatches, so you can sample several shades from a photo and copy them in any order.
- Screenshot anything on screen. The picker works on any image file — screenshot a website or app first, then upload it to sample its exact UI colors.
Common uses
- Brand color matching — sample a logo to get the exact HEX for your website, slides or packaging.
- CSS & web development — grab the RGB or HEX of any element to reuse in your stylesheet.
- Design palettes — pull 3–4 shades from a favorite photo to build a mood-board palette.
- UI consistency checks — verify that buttons, links and banners across screenshots really use the same color.
- Print & merch — hand your printer the exact color codes for t-shirts, mugs or business cards.
