Taking a compliant photo
- Background: plain white or off-white wall, no shadows, no objects.
- Light: face the light (a window works); avoid harsh overhead light and flash glare on glasses.
- Framing: face the camera directly, neutral expression, head taking up most of the frame with a little margin.
- Resolution: use your phone's rear camera; you will downscale later, so start sharp.
